Blink Outdoor 4 Wireless smart security camera: Two-year battery life
Meet the Blink Outdoor 4 – your wallet's new best friend in the world of wireless smart security cameras. Not only does it promise up to two years of battery life (yes, you read that right), but it also keeps an eye out 24/7 so you can sleep a little easier. And with 1080p HD live view, you'll catch every detail in crystal clear quality, whether it's day or night (thanks to that slick infrared night vision). Oh, and if you ever need to tell the delivery guy where to leave your package, the two-way audio has got your back.
Setting it up? A breeze. Just pop in the included AA Energizer lithium batteries, sync it with the Blink Sync Module Core, and you're good to go in minutes. Plus, with dual-zone, enhanced motion detection, you'll know the moment anything moves – and if it's a person, you'll get a heads-up thanks to that nifty computer vision tech (though, fair warning, that last bit's part of an optional subscription).
And because we know you love talking to your gadgets, it plays nice with Alexa. Command a multi-camera live view, arm or disarm your system, and more – all without lifting a finger. Because who has time for buttons anymore?

Denver, CO

As a mom always juggling work and kids in Denver, I was hoping this would be a great deal for keeping an eye on things without breaking the bank. My first impression is mixed—it does the basics well, like clear video and easy setup, but I'm cautious about the subscription stuff. It seems reliable so far, but I'm not fully sold yet since I've only had it a short while. For a DIY enthusiast like me, it's okay, but I wish it didn't push extra costs.
- Pros: The battery life seems extremely long, lasting much longer than I expected without needing a recharge. Setting it up was a breeze, just a few minutes and it was ready to go. I like that I can see everything clearly, even at night, and the two-way talk feature is handy for quick chats with visitors.
- Cons: It seems disappointing that some of the smarter features, like identifying people, require an extra paid service, which adds to the cost. The motion alerts can be a bit sensitive at times, picking up things I don't really care about, which gets annoying.
