before getting these my home felt a bit exposed especially with the kids playing outside all the time i was constantly worried about security but after installing them i have peace of mind knowing i can check in anytime the view is clear day or night and the long battery life means i don't have to fuss with maintenance often though the subscription model for advanced features is disappointing and adds to the expense overall it's a solid system that does what it promises but could be better without the extra costs
- Pros: the video quality is incredibly sharp even in total darkness and the battery life seems to last forever without needing a charge which is a huge relief for someone like me with a busy family the two way audio is clear making it easy to communicate and the alerts for movement are spot on reducing false alarms
- Cons: it requires a paid subscription to distinguish between people and other things which feels like a hidden cost and the setup needed extra parts not included which was a bit of a hassle in my book also the initial free storage trial is limited pushing you toward ongoing fees
