before i got this, i was using an old wired camera that was a pain with all the cords and constant charging, but now with this one, it's mostly wire-free and easier to handle, the picture is clearer and the night vision works well, but the alerts can be too sensitive, catching every little movement like a squirrel or the wind, which gets annoying, and having to use another device just to save videos locally is a hassle, i like that it works with voice commands through my smart speaker, making it simple to check on things without fiddling with my phone, overall, it's an improvement but not perfect, most likely because of the extra costs for the better features, i'd say it's decent for the price but could be better
- Pros: the battery lasts a really long time, which is great since i don't have to mess with it often, and the video looks sharp both during the day and at night, plus i can talk to people through it which is handy for checking on things or scaring off any troublemakers
- Cons: it was delayed a day in delivery but that was fine, though i expected more from the motion alerts since they sometimes pick up things that aren't people unless you pay extra, and the setup with the extra gadget for storage feels a bit clunky
