I bought this a couple of weeks ago to keep an eye on my yard since I live alone and want to feel secure. First impression was great—unboxing was straightforward, and I had it running in minutes. The app is user-friendly, and I enjoy watching the live feed; it's very clear and reliable. Night vision works well, no issues there. But I did notice the motion detection goes off for minor movements, which can be annoying. I'm using the free trial for cloud storage, but I'm not sure I'll keep it after it ends because of the cost. Overall, it's a solid system that does its job well, just a few quirks to get used to. :)
- Pros: Just what I needed for peace of mind around my home. The video quality is very sharp, making it easy to see details day or night, and I love that I can hear and talk through it from my phone—feels like I'm right there. Setting it up was a breeze, no wires at all, and the batteries last a long time, so I don't have to worry about constant changes. It works great with my voice assistant, letting me check on things hands-free, which is super convenient.
- Cons: From what I feel, the motion alerts can be a bit too sensitive sometimes, picking up small things like leaves blowing by. Also, to get the best features like telling if it's a person, you need to pay extra for a service, which feels like an added cost. The local storage option requires buying separate parts, which is a hassle and makes it less of a complete package out of the box.
