My first impression was that this system does the job but it isnt perfect I set it up around my home to keep an eye on things and for the most part it works fine The video is clear during the day and at night I can see quite well though not always to the full distance advertised I use the two way audio to chat with delivery folks but it isnt always clear and there is a slight delay which annoys me The app is free which is good but it can be glitchy sometimes making me wonder if I made the right choice I added a couple more cameras and it was okay but the wiring is a bit messy For someone who values reliability and ease this could be better but it is affordable and meets basic needs I might be wrong but I expected more from a brand like this given my experience with other gadgets It does provide some peace of mind but with a few quirks that keep it from being excellent
- Pros: I quite liked that it came with eight cameras already and I could add more later which is handy for covering the whole place The picture is clear enough to see details like faces or animals and the night vision works well in the dark The two way audio lets me talk to people outside from my phone which is useful and the storage holds a lot of video without extra costs Setting it up was easier than I expected and it feels secure with proper safety standards
- Cons: The audio quality when speaking through the system could be better as it sometimes sounds a bit muffled or delayed which is frustrating for a perfectionist like me I wish the app was more intuitive and reliable as it occasionally freezes or disconnects making it hard to rely on Adding the extra cameras might be a hassle with wires and setup and the night vision range is decent but not as far as I hoped in some spots Overall it feels a bit basic and not as polished as I expected for the price
