Before getting this, I had a basic doorbell that barely did anything—just a simple ring and no video. Now, with this AOSU device, my home feels much more secure. I can see who's at the door from my phone, which is great for peace of mind, especially when I'm not home. The video is sharp, and the wide angle means I don't miss anything, like packages or unexpected visitors. In short, it's a solid upgrade, but it has its flaws. The delivery was smooth—the courier called ahead, which I appreciated. Overall, it seems reliable for daily use, though not perfect. I'd recommend it with some reservations, as it does the job well for most things but could be improved in a few areas.
- Pros: I liked that it captures video with great clarity and a very wide view, making it easy to see everything at my doorstep without any blind spots. The battery lasts a long time, which is extremely convenient, and I appreciate not having to pay extra fees for storage since I can just use a memory card. The connection is stable thanks to the base station, and it works well with my other smart devices. It's also built to handle all kinds of weather, which is a big plus for outdoor use.
- Cons: On the downside, it sometimes misses detecting people or gives false alerts, which can be annoying. The battery life, while good, isn't quite as long as I hoped in practice, and the initial setup was a bit tricky. I wish the audio quality was better for clearer conversations, and the voice changer feature feels a bit gimmicky and not very useful.
