eufy T8223 Video Doorbell: 2K FHD resolution
Ever wished you could spot a squirrel stealing your mail from 50 feet away? Well, now you can with crystal-clear 2K FHD video. Day or night, every little detail is captured—no more guessing who's at your door.
Power options? We've got you covered. Go wireless with a quick-release rechargeable battery (perfect for the DIY crowd) or keep it steady with a hardwired setup. Either way, your security's uninterrupted.
Imagine this: you're in your pajamas, and someone rings the bell. No problem—live video call lets you chat with visitors via your smartphone. Quick responses, voice messages, and yes, you can still pretend you're not home.
For the folks who want to keep an eye on things 24/7, hardwiring means continuous recording. Plus, with a 5-second pre-roll on motion-activated events, you'll catch the action before it even starts.
Love your smart home? This gadget plays nice with Alexa and Google Assistant. Pair it with the HomeBase S380, and you've got yourself a security system that's smarter than your average bear.
And here's the kicker: no monthly fees. Store everything locally with a microSD card (you'll need to bring your own) or go big with expandable storage via the HomeBase S380. Because who likes paying for storage they don't need?

when i first got this, i was dealing with constant package thefts in my neighborhood, and i needed something reliable to keep an eye on things without breaking the bank. this doorbell seemed like the perfect solution with its clear video and no monthly fees. after using it for a couple of weeks, it's mostly been great—i can finally see who's at the door from my phone, and the night vision is impressive. but, oh man, the storage part was a headache; i had to run out and get a card, which was annoying. also, it doesn't always catch every motion, so i've missed a few squirrels or delivery folks. overall, it's a good product that solves my main problem, but it could be better with some tweaks. i'd recommend it with a warning to be ready for those extra steps :)
- Pros: i love that i can see everything clearly, even from far away, and it works day or night without any issues. the video quality is so sharp, and i appreciate that i can choose to power it with a battery or keep it plugged in, which makes it super flexible for my setup. chatting with visitors through my phone is a lifesaver when i'm not dressed or just busy, and it integrates well with my other smart home gadgets without extra costs.
- Cons: it's too frustrating that i had to buy my own storage card separately, which feels like an extra expense i wasn't expecting. sometimes the motion detection misses things or acts up, and the setup could be simpler for someone like me who's not super tech-savvy. i wish it had better instructions or more guidance out of the box.
