As a retired guy in LA, I'm always looking for good deals, and this seemed quite worth it at first. The video quality is impressive, makes me feel secure without being over the top. But it's not perfect – had a few false alarms that got my heart racing for nothing 😅. Overall, it does what it says, but I wish it was a bit more reliable. For the price, it's a decent pick, but keep an eye on those extra fees. Would recommend if you're okay with some quirks.
- Pros: The picture is really sharp, I can see everything clearly, even small details like expressions or animals. It knows when something important is moving and alerts me, which is smart. Talking through it without opening the door is handy, and storing videos online keeps them safe. Setting it up was easy with the wireless connection, no fuss at all.
- Cons: Sometimes it seems to get things wrong, like alerting me for no reason, which can be annoying. The need for a subscription to keep all the old videos is a bit of a letdown, adds extra cost. Battery life could be better, I find myself charging it more often than I'd like.
