I picked this up from the store because it was on sale, and it's been a solid choice for my place in Houston. As someone who's not super into tech, I found it easy to get going. I mounted it at about chest height near my driveway, and it's caught every time I come home on my scooter, which is awesome for safety. It doesn't use much power, which is a plus for my budget. Most likely, it's a great deal for what it does, but it's not perfect—I'd recommend it with a few tweaks needed.
- Pros: I super love how this thing is so thin and blends right into my garden—it's almost invisible, which is perfect because I didn't want anything bulky. It picks up movement really well and has been super reliable for turning on my lights when I ride my scooter home at night. Setting it up was a breeze; I just stuck it on the wall, and it covers a good area without any fuss. Plus, it handles rain and dust like a champ, no issues there.
- Cons: Sometimes it runs hot when it's been on for a while, which worries me a bit, and I had to play around with the sensitivity to stop it from going off for small things like my neighbor's cat. The range is good, but not amazing—I wish it could see a bit farther out.
