i bought this as a gift for my dad to help with security around his place since he's got multiple kids running around and i'm into tech stuff so it was a no-brainer. set it up in the driveway and it works great for lighting the path at night. a tip i found is to angle it slightly downward to avoid false triggers from animals or cars passing by. it is what it is with the occasional hiccup in extreme weather, but overall it's a solid addition to any automated setup and does its job well without much fuss. highly recommend for anyone looking to save energy and add a bit of smart control to their home.
- Pros: it's extremely slim and blends in well on my wall, the waterproofing is top-notch and has held up in heavy rain without any issues, i love how it only turns things on when needed saving a ton on my electric bill, the sensitivity adjustments make it perfect for different spots around the house
- Cons: it seems a bit tricky to install at first if you're not used to wiring things up, and in very hot florida sun it sometimes acts up and triggers when it shouldn't, wish it had a bit more range for larger areas
