i bought this hoping for a reliable security camera without a lot of hassle, and overall, it does the job. the picture is clear, and i appreciate not having to plug it in all the time, but there are moments when it feels a bit finicky, like during setup or in bad weather. for the price, i expected a bit more polish, but it's decent enough that i'd still recommend it with some reservations. it could be better, but it's not a bad choice if you're looking for something solar-powered and easy to use after the initial hiccups.
- Pros: the video quality is quite sharp, even at night, which is a big plus. i like that it's powered by the sun, so i don't have to worry about charging it often. the motion detection is smart enough to ignore small things like leaves, and the wide view covers a lot of area without missing much. storing footage is flexible with options for a card or online, and it works with voice commands, which is handy.
- Cons: the setup could be smoother; it took me a while to get it connected properly, and sometimes the audio isn't very clear when i try to talk through it. the battery life is good but not amazing, and in very heavy rain, i've noticed it might glitch a bit. it's not the cheapest option out there, which is a downside for someone on a budget like me.
