i bought this to keep an eye on my home since i have kids and want that extra security. delivery was quick, which was nice. compared to others in the same price range, it's decent, but not perfect. it does the job for watching the yard and driveway, and i appreciate not having to worry about power. but i wish it was a bit more reliable with the connection and had better clarity in videos. overall, it's helpful for peace of mind, but i might look for something better down the line. :)
- Pros: it works out of the box, which was a relief for someone like me who's not great with tech. the solar part is fantastic—no more dealing with wires or changing batteries, so it's super convenient. i like that it can see in color at night, making it easier to spot things, and the wide view covers a lot without missing spots. storing videos on the device itself saves money on extra fees, and the app makes it simple to check in from my phone, which i do often.
- Cons: the setup was a bit tricky at first, most likely because i'm not used to these things, and the video quality isn't as sharp as i hoped in some conditions. it feels a bit too bulky for my taste, and the app can be slow sometimes, which is annoying when i'm trying to see what's happening quickly.
