as a retired driver who's seen my share of gadgets, i was pretty excited to pick this up from the store—convenient, no delivery hassles. but after using it for a couple of weeks, i'm fairly disappointed. compared to other units in the same price range, this one falls short. it doesn't cool or heat my living space as well as i'd like, and the noise level is higher than advertised, which bugs me when i'm trying to relax with some music. a tip: if you get one, make sure to check the seals on the window kit to avoid drafts. overall, it's not the reliable appliance i hoped for, and with multiple kids in the house, we need something more dependable. maybe it's just not suited for our san antonio heat. 😕
- Pros: from what i feel, the mobility is fairly good with easy-rolling wheels and built-in handles, making it simple to move around the house. the setup was pretty good and straightforward with the included window kit, and it does help with humidity control, which is a plus in our texas climate.
