i had a problem with my old setup not capturing details well during night drives, so i got this hoping for a solution. it does make things visible in the dark and the automatic saving of important clips is a plus, but i'm disappointed because the footage isn't as sharp as i hoped in very dark conditions. the takeaway is it's good for basic safety but not perfect, and i wish it were more reliable for high-end use :)
- Pros: i liked that it records clearly even at night and in bad weather, the wide view covers a lot of the road which is very helpful, and it was easy to set up without any fuss
- Cons: from what i feel, it didn't meet my expectations for quality in some situations, the video can be a bit grainy in low light, and i expected better performance for the price
