i got this a couple months back for my daily commute in boston, and it's been a solid addition to my car. as someone who's not super techy, i found it fairly straightforward after a bit of fiddling. the wide angle means i don't miss much, and the night mode makes evening drives clearer, though it's not flawless. a tip i picked up: mount it high on the windshield to avoid glare. it's budget-friendly and does what i need without fuss, but i wish the display was bigger for quick checks. overall, it's reliable for capturing drives, and i'd recommend it to others looking for a simple dash cam :)
- Pros: the video quality is fairly sharp, even in low light, and it captures a wide view which helps see more of the road. i like that it saves space by overwriting old clips, and it automatically protects videos if there's a shake or impact, which is handy for peace of mind.
- Cons: the screen is on the smaller side, making it a bit tricky to check details while driving. setup was not the easiest, and it might not handle very bright or very dark conditions perfectly, but it's an acquired taste for the price.
