as a stay-at-home dad in la, i was hoping these lights would add some fun to my place, maybe remind me of travel vibes. they do look decent when on, with a soft light that's easy on the eyes. but honestly, i ran into problems pretty quick. the cutting part is permanent, so if you mess up, you're stuck. and trying to get them to work with my phone or voice commands was a hassle—most likely because i'm not too tech-savvy. compared to other options in the same range, these are okay but not great. they light up the room, but the magic fades when you realize the limitations. i'd say they're fine for a simple setup, but don't expect miracles.
