I bought this Essager watch for my kid a couple months back, hoping it would give me some peace of mind. As a mom, I am fairly cautious about gadgets, but I stick with brands I know. It does the job for staying connected, like when we do video chats, though it is not perfect. The location tracking helps me check in, but it is not always accurate. The watch itself feels sturdy enough, and the waterproof part is good for everyday messes. Overall, it is what it is—a decent tool, but I have had some frustrations with it not working smoothly all the time. I would not say it is the best out there, but it gets by for what we need.
- Pros: I liked that it keeps my child safe with the emergency button and lets me see where they are most of the time. The video calls work fairly well when we are on a good network, and it is what it is with the waterproofing, which is handy for splashes.
- Cons: The face recognition does not always work right, and the camera quality is not great, making it hard to see things clearly. The battery does not last as long as I hoped, and it can be slow to respond at times.
