As an engineer, I had to test this out for my family. Why did I buy it? To keep an eye on the little ones without constant worry. How does it perform? The connection is solid with mobile networks, and I can see where they are on a map, which is handy. But the battery drains faster than I'd like, and the video feature has its moments of frustration. Overall, it does the job but could be better. Not bad, not amazing :)
- Pros: Fairly reliable for staying in touch with my grandkids, the calls are clear and the location tracking works well most of the time. It's durable and handles water splashes without issues, which is a plus.
- Cons: Battery life isn't great, needs charging too often, and the face lock for video calls can be finicky, not always recognizing faces quickly. Most likely, it's a bit bulky for small wrists.
