I bought this as a gift for my partner and we've been using it for a couple of months now living in Montpellier we travel a lot and wanted something to watch the house it's been very reliable the cameras catch everything and I love that I can check in from my phone when we're away the setup was a breeze jsut plug and play no need for extra help the alerts are immediate but I had to tweak the sensitivity to avoid false alarms which was easy in the app the video quality is good enough to see details and the night mode works well though not perfect in pitch black backing up videos is straightforward and the support was helpful when I had a question it feels secure and has given us both less to worry about definitely a solid choice for anyone wanting a simple secyrity system without the fuss
- Pros: exactly what I needed for peace of mind the cameras are shrap and see well even at night up to a good distance and the waterproofing means I don't worry about weather setting it up was very easy no tech headaches and the alerts to my phone keep me informed without constant checking the free app lets me watch live or look back anytime which is handy for travel prep
- Cons: the motion detecton sometimes pings for small things like a passing cat which can be a bit much and the storage filled up faster than I expected leading to some overwriting of old footage as it seemed to me the night vision could be a touch clearer in very dark spots but overall it does the job
