As a healthcare worker with a family, including one child, I wanted a reliable system to enhance our home security, especially since we live in Lyon and value safety. After using it for a couple of weeks, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, the high-definition video is a standout—it's crystal clear, and I can zoom in to see fine details, which aligns with my interest in photo and video. The night vision works as advertised, letting me see up to about 30 meters in the dark, which is reassuring. The expandability is a plus; I started with four cameras but like that I can add more later if needed. However, the setup process was frustrating. I had to fiddle with the network settings multiple times to get a stable connection, and even then, it occasionally drops, which is annoying. The alerts for human detection are smart but not perfect; I get too many false alarms from passing cars or animals, making it hard to trust the notifications fully. The two-way audio is functional but the sound quality isn't the best—it's a bit muffled at times. Overall, it does the job for basic monitoring, but it's not without its flaws. I'd recommend it with caution, especially if you're tech-savvy and don't mind some tweaking. For the price, it's decent but could be better. :)
