as a healthcare worker with a busy life and kids at home i was looking for something reliable and affordable to keep our place safe without breaking the bank or requiring a subscription this tolviviov system caught my eye because i enjoy diy projects and it seemed straightforward after unboxing i had it up and running in no time just followed the instructions and it connected to my wifi easily i use it mainly to monitor doors and get alerts if anything opens unexpectedly which gives me peace of mind especially when im not there the app is simple to use and i can control everything from my phone even from the couch which is great for lazy days however i did notice that the range for the sensors might not cover every corner of our house so i might need to buy extras down the line overall its a solid choice for someone like me who values practicality and cost effectiveness but it isnt perfect hence the four star rating id recommend it to friends but with a heads up about the network compatibility and expansion needs
- Pros: i quite liked how easy it was to set up myself without needing to call anyone for help and it works with my home network seamlessly the alerts come straight to my phone which is super handy for keeping an eye on things while im at work or out and about the sound it makes is really loud definitely enough to scare anyone off and i appreciate that i can add more parts later if my family grows or we need extra security
- Cons: shipping took longer than expected which was a bit frustrating and while the main unit does a lot it might feel a bit basic for someone wanting more advanced features also it only connects to certain types of networks which could be a limitation for some households and the initial kit might not be enough for larger homes right away
