I got this as a gift for my family, and overall, it's been great for keeping an eye on the kids playing outside. The light is amazing, and the video quality is sharp, way better than the old one we had. I like that I can customize what motions to alert on, but it still goes off for small stuff sometimes. The two-way audio is handy, like when the courier called ahead, I could tell them where to leave packages. Compared to similar options, it's easier to install and the free trial for storage is a nice touch, but I wish all the smart features didn't require extra money. It does its job well, just not perfect.
- Pros: The light is super bright, like daylight at night, which makes me feel safe. I love that I can see everything clearly in color even when it's dark, and talking through it is easy and crisp. Setting it up was a breeze, no hassle at all.
- Cons: From what I feel, the motion alerts can be a bit too sensitive, picking up every little thing like leaves, which gets annoying. Also, some features need a paid plan to work fully, which is a bummer for a gift.
