as a parent who values both privacy and safety, i found this camera to be a mixed bag. the image is clear, and i like that i can keep an eye on things remotely, which fits well with my busy schedule. however, the reliability issues with the wifi and the overly sensitive audio detection make it less than perfect. it seems to me that it does the job, but not without some frustrations. for the price, i expected a smoother experience, especially since i did quite a bit of research before buying. overall, it's useful but could be better. 😕
- Pros: the video quality is quite sharp, making it easy to see details from a distance, and i appreciate being able to talk to my child through the built-in speaker, which is handy for quick reminders or comfort, the ability to monitor from my phone when i'm not at home gives a sense of reassurance without being intrusive
- Cons: it can be a bit annoying when the connection drops unexpectedly, requiring frequent checks, and the sound detection feature sometimes picks up normal noises, leading to false alerts that disrupt my peace, setup was not as straightforward as i hoped, taking some time to get everything working properly
