So I got this Neoglint camera monitor thinking it would be my superpower for keeping an eye on my little one while I'm studying or just chilling. At first it seemed intuitive enough to set up but man I was a bit disappointed when I noticed the video isn't as sharp as I expected like it's okay during the day but at night it's just meh. The two-way communication is cool I can hear my kid babbling and talk back which is fun but sometimes there's a delay or static which ruins the moment. I use it mostly in the evenings to check if they're asleep and the temperature feature is handy because my wife and I are always worried about overheating in our flat here in Lille. But honestly for the price I paid I thought it would be flawless and it's not. It does the job but with a few quirks that make me roll my eyes. Still it's better than nothing and I rely on it daily so I guess it's worth it but don't expect perfection. :)
- Pros: The ability to see and hear my kid from another room is super useful especially at night when it gets dark and I can still make things out clearly. The two-way chat lets me talk to them without being there which is great for quick reminders or just saying goodnight. It also tells me if the room is too warm or cold so I can adjust things before they get fussy.
