before i got this, i was always worried about who was at the door, especially with my kid around, and i'd have to get up to check every time. now, i can see everything from my phone, which feels much safer and more convenient. it's not perfect—i wish the alerts were smarter about filtering out false alarms—but overall, it does a great job and gives me peace of mind. as an engineer, i appreciate how well it works for the basics, and it's been a helpful addition to our home.
- Pros: the video is very sharp, even at night, which is great for seeing details clearly. it picks up movement reliably and sends alerts quickly, so i never miss anything. installation was straightforward, and connecting it to my home network was a breeze.
- Cons: sometimes the alerts seem a bit too sensitive, picking up small things like leaves blowing by. the app can be a bit slow to load the live feed at times, which is frustrating when i want to check something immediately.
