Foride Urbano 2 Electric Bike: 250W mid-drive motor
Meet the Foride Urbano 2 electric bike—your new best friend for zipping through city streets or just enjoying a leisurely ride. It's got a beefy 250W mid-drive motor that doesn't mess around, pumping out 75 N·m of torque and offering 5 levels of pedal assist to get you up to 25km/h without breaking a sweat. And with a Shimano 7-speed gear system, hydraulic disc brakes, and an 80mm travel front suspension fork, it's like the bike version of a Swiss Army knife: ready for anything.
Worried about running out of juice? Don't be. The Urbano 2's high-capacity 36V 13Ah battery laughs in the face of range anxiety, giving you a whopping 100km on a single charge. Plus, its low-step frame design and adjustable handlebar, seat, and stem angles mean it'll fit you like a glove—no matter if you're towering over everyone or just trying to reach the top shelf.
Durability? Check. Safety? Double-check. Built with a high-strength aluminum alloy frame, this e-bike comes loaded with bright LED lights, an LCD display (because who doesn't love gadgets?), an IPX4 waterproof rating (rain, rain, go away), and 26"x2.1" puncture-resistant pneumatic tires. Basically, it's built to handle whatever the city—or Mother Nature—throws at it.

Strasbourg
July 10, 2025
Before buying this, I used a regular bike for my commutes, and I have to say, the electric assist is a game-changer—it makes getting around Strasbourg much easier, especially with my age. But compared to other e-bikes I've tried, this one feels a bit clunky; the gears shift okay, but not as seamlessly as I expected. The brakes work well, though they could be more responsive in wet conditions. I could be wrong, but the range seems to drop faster when I use higher assist levels. Overall, it's functional but not outstanding; it gets the job done without wowing me.
- Pros: The motor provides a decent boost, making hills feel less daunting, and the battery lasts long enough for my daily errands without needing a recharge. The adjustable parts mean it fits me well, which is a nice little bonus for someone my size.
- Cons: It's fairly heavy to maneuver when not powered, and the display can be confusing to navigate. The suspension isn't as smooth as I'd hoped on rougher paths, and the lights could be brighter for night rides.
