i bought this for my granddaughter who's into drawing, thinking it would help with her sketches. as a builder, i appreciate things that are sturdy, but this one feels a bit cheaply made. the packaging was sound, so no issues there. i've had it for a couple of months now, and while it does light up nicely and is easy to carry around, i've noticed it doesn't hold up well if you're not careful. the touch thing is a bit finicky—i've had it turn on in my bag a few times, which is annoying. for the price, i expected something more reliable. it's helpful for basic tracing, but i wouldn't recommend it for heavy use. most likely, it's okay for occasional projects, but not a long-term investment. and with my low income, i wish it offered better value. on the bright side, my dog seems curious about the light, so at least it's entertaining for the pets!
- Pros: the light is fairly even and bright, which makes tracing much easier than in dim conditions, and i like that i can change how bright it is with a simple tap, it's quite handy for different times of day or projects.
- Cons: it feels a bit flimsy and might not last long with regular use, the touch controls can be too sensitive and sometimes turn on by accident, and the brightness levels don't have enough range for my needs, making it less versatile than i hoped.
