as a chef, i'm used to precise instructions, so i expected this to be straightforward, but reality was messier. my partner and i bought it for our niece, and while she loved the building part and learning how things fit together, it took us a while to figure out some assemblies. the educational aspect is there, disguised as play, which i appreciate for stem learning without feeling like schoolwork. after a few weeks, it's held up well on our tile floor, no pieces lost or damaged. not perfect, but for the cost, it's a decent kit that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
- Pros: frankly pretty good for the price, with quite a lot of pieces to build three different robots, which kept my kid engaged for hours. the remote makes it fun to control, and the pieces seem durable enough to handle some rough play without breaking.
- Cons: it was a bit tricky to put together at first, and the instructions could be clearer—i had to guess a few steps. also, the remote range seems limited, so you have to stay close for it to work properly.
