so i had this beast of a problem with critters getting into my garden and not feeling safe with the kids playing outside delivery was quick which was nice but setting it up was a bit of a headache despite the promises it took me a good while to get it mounted and connected the solution though once it was working the solar power is a game-changer no more worrying about batteries or cords the video quality is super clear i can spot faces and license plates from across the street and the wide view means i don't have to buy multiple cams the tracking is smart it follows movement and syncs with other cams but it's not flawless sometimes it doesn't catch fast-moving stuff like squirrels the storage is local so i can playback old footage without subscriptions which i appreciate as a budget-conscious person the takeaway is it's a solid choice for outdoor security eco-friendly and cost-effective but it has its quirks with the tech not always being reliable i'd recommend it with some patience needed
- Pros: i love that it runs on sunlight no wires no bills super eco-friendly and the picture is sharp even from far away at night the light helps see things clearly it covers my whole yard so no blind spots and the storage is built-in no extra fees which is great for my budget
- Cons: most likely the tracking isn't always perfect sometimes it misses small animals or moves too slow and the app can be a bit glitchy making it hard to control things quickly also the initial setup took longer than expected even though it's supposed to be easy
