As an older lady in Quebec City, I bought this on a whim after seeing an ad, hoping it would help me keep an eye on my garden and driveway. I've had it for a couple of months now, and while it's nice to have a camera that doesn't need constant attention, I've had some frustrations. For instance, last week, a delivery person came by, and it didn't alert me until they were already leaving, which was disappointing. On the bright side, the solar panel does a good job keeping it powered, even on cloudy days, and I appreciate not paying extra fees. But the auto-tracking doesn't work as well as I'd hoped; it often gets stuck or moves too slowly. Overall, it's a decent product, but I expected better performance for the price. I might recommend it with some reservations, but I'm not entirely happy with it. :)
- Pros: I quite like that it runs on solar power, so I don't have to worry about charging it often, and it saves me from monthly fees with its built-in storage. The video is clear both day and night, and I can talk through it, which feels very handy.
- Cons: From what I feel, the motion detection isn't always reliable, sometimes missing things or picking up false alerts, and the setup was a bit tricky for me despite it being advertised as easy. The tracking feature works so-so and doesn't always follow movement smoothly.
