As a healthcare worker in Glasgow, I'm always cautious with my purchases due to my low income, and I had high hopes for this lamp to enhance my photo and video hobby with customizable lighting. The packaging was intact when it arrived, which was a good start. However, the reality didn't quite meet my expectations. While it's energy-efficient and fits my lamp base, the performance feels inconsistent. The colors don't pop as much as I'd like, and the dimming feature is a letdown—it's just not subtle enough for those cozy evenings. Connection issues have been a hassle; it sometimes doesn't respond to commands, making it feel less 'smart' and more like a basic light with extra steps. I've used it for a couple of months now, and while it's functional, it's not the perfection I was aiming for. For the price, I expected better reliability and more refined features. It does the job, but with reservations. :)
- Pros: To be fair, the setup was straightforward with the app, and I appreciate that it works with voice commands from my existing assistants. The ability to adjust colors and brightness easily is a nice touch for setting different moods in my flat.
