When I bought this on a whim, I expected it to be just another gimmick, but reality surprised me. It's super convenient for controlling the lights without getting up, especially with my pets around—they love the different moods I can set. Though I'm usually cautious with tech, this one works well enough for daily use. Not perfect, but it does the job better than I thought it would. I'd say it's worth it if you're looking for something simple and functional.
- Pros: I was super impressed with how easy it was to set up—just screwed it right into my lamp socket, no fuss. Being able to change the colors and brightness from my phone is a game-changer, and it listens when I talk to it through my assistant, which is handy. It seems built like a tank, sturdy and reliable, and I appreciate that it doesn't use much electricity, saving me some bucks.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the connection can be a bit finicky sometimes, dropping out for no reason, which is frustrating. The colors don't always match what I expect on the app, and it feels a bit cheap in places, not as high-quality as I hoped for the price. Also, the courier called ahead for delivery, but it still took longer than I wanted to get here.
