i got this estg watch hoping it would help me stay on top of my health while driving around the city, but honestly, it's been a letdown. the first week, i was excited to use it for my morning jogs, but the heart rhythm thing doesn't always work right—i had a few scares where it showed weird readings, most likely a glitch that can be fixed with an update. the sos button is a good idea, but when i tried it once, it took a while to connect, and i felt pretty unsafe. for fitness, it counts steps okay, but the calorie burn seems inflated, and sleep tracking is hit or miss. i appreciate that it's durable and handles sweat, but the interface is clunky, and making calls is frustrating with the dropouts. as a life-hacker, i expected more reliability for the price. it's not terrible, but i'm fairly disappointed and might look for something else. :)
- Pros: i liked that it can check my heart rhythm easily during runs and the sos feature is handy for emergencies, plus it tracks steps and sleep fairly accurately without needing my phone around all the time
- Cons: the heart rate tracking seems off sometimes, maybe it needs a software fix, and the bluetooth calls drop out now and then which is annoying, also the design is a bit bulky for my wrist
