i had a problem with not being able to see visitors clearly with my old setup, so i researched and got this neoglint doorbell as a solution. it seems to do the job for basic monitoring, and the takeaway is that it's a decent upgrade for home security, but it's not perfect and might need improvements for more demanding use.
- Pros: the video quality is extremely clear during the day, making it easy to see who is at the door, and the night vision works well for low-light situations, which is helpful for keeping an eye on things after dark. the wide view covers a lot of area, so i don't miss anything happening outside, and it feels intuitive to check the live feed from my phone without any hassle.
- Cons: the screen seems a bit small and can be hard to see details clearly at times, especially for someone with less sharp eyesight. the image quality drops a bit in very bright or very dark conditions, making it not always reliable, and the setup process was a bit confusing at first, requiring some trial and error to get it working properly.
