before i got this i was just using a basic doorbell and felt a bit uneasy not knowing who was outside especially when i travel a lot now it's like having an extra set of eyes which is reassuring but it's not perfect i had high hopes after researching options and while it does improve security it has its quirks the image quality is great during the day but at night things can get grainy and i've missed some alerts which makes me cautious about relying on it fully overall it's a step up but not the game changer i hoped for
- Pros: the screen is extremely clear and makes it easy to see who's at the door it feels intuitive to use and the wide view helps me catch everything happening outside even at night the vision is good enough to spot my cat wandering around
- Cons: it seems a bit disappointing that it doesn't always connect reliably and the setup was trickier than i expected for something that should be simple i wish it had better performance in low light without relying so much on the night feature
