Roku DS10005 Smart Video Doorbell & Chime: 1080p HD Night Vision
Ever wish you had eyes in the back of your head? Well, this 1080p HD camera with color night vision is the next best thing—capturing twice as much light so you can see what's up, day or night. And with a 120-degree vertical and 88-degree horizontal view, it's like having a panoramic window to your world.
Got a package thief or just a nosy neighbor? Smart motion and sound detection has your back, sending alerts faster than you can say 'Who's there?' (Seriously, it's within seconds.)
Missed the doorbell? No sweat. The 2-way audio lets you chat with visitors through the Roku Smart Home app—whether you're in bed or halfway across the globe. (Just maybe not from the shower.)
And because we know you've got a smart home that's smarter than a fifth grader, this camera plays nice with Alexa and Google. Because who needs more apps cluttering their phone?
Oh, and here's the cherry on top: a 90-day subscription to Roku Smart Home. Think of it as a little welcome gift, packed with advanced features to keep your peace of mind in check. (Because let's face it, we could all use a little more of that.)

Nottingham

As a brand loyalist, I chose Roku because I trust them, and this didn't disappoint. I installed it myself—easy enough with basic tools. Why did I buy it? For security, living in Nottingham, I wanted to keep an eye on deliveries and visitors. How does it perform? Very well overall; the video is sharp, and I get alerts almost instantly. I can chat with people at the door even when I'm out cycling, which is handy. Downsides? The app took some getting used to, and the wide view isn't always enough to see everything. Would I recommend it? Yes, for the money, it's a solid choice that integrates nicely into a smart home setup. :)
- Pros: Very clear picture day and night, it seemed to capture more light so I could see details easily. Alerts came fast when something moved or made noise, and I liked being able to talk to visitors through the app from anywhere. It worked well with my other smart devices, and the free trial for extra features was a nice bonus for the money.
- Cons: The view angle is wide but not perfect, sometimes missing things at the edges. The app can be a bit confusing for a beginner like me, and I wish it didn't rely so much on my phone. The free trial ended quickly, and now I have to pay for some features, which is annoying.
