When I bought this, I thought it would be a simple way to keep an eye on my front door without much hassle. In reality, it does work for basic monitoring, but it falls short in some areas. The setup was straightforward, which was a relief, and I appreciate that I can view the feed from my couch or even when I'm away. The night vision is decent, making things visible after dark, but it's not perfect—sometimes it's grainy. The biggest letdown is the battery; it doesn't last long, and I had to buy one separately, which felt like a hidden expense. Also, the Wi-Fi connection isn't always stable; it cuts out occasionally, making me miss important moments. For the price, I expected better reliability and a longer-lasting power solution. It's okay for casual use, but if you want something rock-solid, you might want to look elsewhere. Most likely, it's fine for light-duty security, but it's not the game-changer I hoped for.
