i was expecting this Lutron switch to be a game changer for my home setup since im into tech and love automating things reality is it does deliver on the smart control part i can turn lights on and off from anywhere which is perfect for when im cooking and my hands are full or when im putting my kid to bed but the installation wasnt as easy as i hoped had to figure out the wiring and spend extra on accessories overall it seems fairly reliable after a few months of use and i like that it integrates well with my other gadgets would recommend if youre willing to deal with the setup hassles
- Pros: it works with a bunch of different bulbs and fans which is awesome because i didnt have to worry about compatibility just hooked it up and it dims smoothly no flickering or anything the remote is super handy i can control lights from my phone or even when im driving home feels like magic honestly and it looks sleek on the wall
- Cons: you gotta buy extra stuff like the remote and a wall plate separately which adds to the cost and it needs a neutral wire so if your house is old like mine it was a bit of a pain to install had to call a friend to help out
