Linkind LL18001144 Smart Solar Lights Outdoor with Motion Sensor: RGB/Cool/Warm White and Lighting Modes
Light up your backyard (or front porch, we don’t judge) with the Linkind Smart Solar Lights SL5. These aren’t your grandma’s solar lights—unless your grandma’s into 16 million colors and tunable white light, from cool to warm. Set the mood with three smart modes: keep things bright all night, let the lights wake up at dusk, or scare off raccoons with motion detection. Your call.
Control’s a breeze with the AiDot app—change colors, tweak brightness, or throw a light show that syncs with your playlist. Just grab your phone; no extra gadgets needed. Though, if you’re all about that Alexa or Google Home life, you’ll need a BLE Mesh Hub. Small print, big convenience.
Speaking of light shows, these lights can turn your yard into a disco or a cozy holiday scene. Group up to 32 lights into 8 squads for uniform vibes across your space. Because who said lighting couldn’t be a team sport?
Stick ’em in the ground or mount ’em on a wall—these solar-powered troopers are weather-resistant and adjust 360° horizontally and 180° vertically. Perfect for highlighting your prize rose bush or that weird garden gnome collection.
Pro tip: Give them a solid 48-hour sunbath before the first use. They’re IP65 waterproof, so rain, shine, or that unexpected snowstorm in April, they’ve got you covered.

From what I feel, I bought these to solve the problem of poor outdoor lighting in my yard, especially for capturing good photos and videos in the evenings. The solution was appealing with the app control and solar aspect, but the setup was not as seamless as I hoped due to the hub requirement and long initial charge. My takeaway is that while they work decently for basic lighting and add some fun with color changes, they fall short for professional use or quick responsiveness. Delivery was quick, but overall, I expected more for the price given my deal-hunting nature.
- Pros: The lights are incredibly easy to control through the app, allowing me to adjust colors and brightness without any hassle. I appreciate that they can be grouped for a consistent look across my garden, and the solar power means no extra electricity costs. They are weather-resistant and have held up well in various conditions.
- Cons: I am not convinced about the need for an additional hub to use with voice assistants, which feels like an extra expense. The initial charging requirement of two full days in the sun was inconvenient and delayed my use. Motion detection could be more responsive, and the range of motion adjustment feels limited at times.
