as a chef, i deal with pests a lot in the kitchen, and this trap from fairy expounds has been a game-changer. i set it up a couple weeks back after getting fed up with the old ones that never worked right. it's fairly easy to use—just bait it and forget it. i like that i can see inside without opening it, so no nasty surprises. it caught a mouse the first night, and the self-locking thing means it's done for good. compared to similar options, it's way more reliable and humane, which i appreciate. overall, it seems solid and does what it says, though i wish it was cheaper. i'd buy it again for sure.
