I picked this up from the store, which was convenient, and as a family buyer focused on home stuff, I wanted something to monitor my place. At first, I was unsure, but it grew on me over time. The way it blends into my smart home is nice, and I appreciate getting notified right away if there's movement. A tip I found helpful is to place it higher up to avoid false alarms from pets. Overall, it does the job for security, but it's not perfect :) I'd say it's decent for the price, especially if you're just starting out with smart devices.
- Pros: It grew on me how easy it was to set up with my home network, and I liked that it works with both plug-in power and batteries, giving flexibility for placement. Getting alerts on my phone when something moves is super helpful for keeping an eye on things from afar, and the wide view catches motion from a good angle without missing much.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the alerts can be too sensitive sometimes, picking up small things like pets, which gets annoying. The connection drops occasionally, making it unreliable, and for a beginner like me, it was a bit tricky to adjust settings without feeling overwhelmed.
