As a dral hunter, I was looking for an affordable motion sensor to beef up my home security, especially since I live in Calgary and want peace of mind when I'm out for concerts or work trips. My problem was that my old sensor was unreliable and didn't play nice with my smart home. This Toys Arts sensor seemed like a great solution—it was easy to install and connected iwrelessly without a hitch. The app control is handy, and it's nice that it doesn't drain power quickly. However, after using it for a couple of weeks, I've noticed it doesn't cover the full area I need; it misses some spots, and the false triggers are ANNOYING. 😕 Compared to other options I've tried, it's decent but not the best. My takeaway is that it's a good value for basic use, but if you need robust detection, you might want to spend a bit more. It does the job, but with some compromises.
- Pros: Setting this up was incredibly easy, and it works seamlessly with my other smart devices, which is a huge plus. The design is sleek and blends into my home without being obtrusive.
