My first impression was positive—it arrived on time and looked well-made. As it seemed to me, it does its job well for basic motion detection, but the need for that gateway was a letdown. I'm a bit unhappy about the hidden costs, though it performs solidly once everything is in place. For the price, it's a good value if you already have the necessary gear. :)
