i bought these lights hoping to upgrade my backyard for the kids to play safely at night, and while they do make things brighter, i'm not fully satisfied. the first time i turned them on, it was blindingly bright—good for security but too intense for casual evenings. controlling them with the app is convenient, but it freezes sometimes, and i had to reset it a few times. the motion detection works, but it goes off for every little thing, like a squirrel or the wind, which wakes us up at night. i appreciate that i can dim them or change the color, but the transitions aren't smooth, and it feels a bit clunky. the courier did call before delivery, which was polite, but it arrived later than expected, adding to the frustration. overall, it's not bad for the price, but it could be better. i might stick with this brand for now since i've had good experiences before, but i'm a bit disappointed this time. for a smart home enthusiast like me, i expected more reliability and seamless integration.
