As a builder in LA with a kid and a dog I needed a reliable outdoor light for security and convenience I had a problem with forgetting to turn off lights and worrying about safety at night This light solved it by letting me control it remotely and customize the settings The motion sensor is sensitive enough to catch any movement which gives me peace of mind especially with pets around The build quality feels durable and it handles the sun and rain here without any trouble Most likely it was a good gift choice for my family but it isnt perfect the wifi limitation and occasional lag are minor drawbacks Overall it does what it promises and makes my life easier
- Pros: I incredibly liked how easy it was to control the light with voice commands through my smart home system and the app which lets me adjust the color warmth and brightness smoothly without any steps It remembers my preferred settings so I dont have to reset them each time The motion detection works well covering a wide area and sensing movement from a good distance away and I can fine tune its sensitivity Its built strong handling weather without issues which is great for outdoor use
- Cons: I didnt like that it only connects to a specific type of wifi network which might not work for everyone and the app can be a bit confusing to navigate at first especially when setting up schedules or groups The light sometimes takes a moment to respond to commands which can be frustrating when I need it quickly
