i had a problem with not feeling safe at home especially wiht my kid around so i got this thing and it hums along quietly until it needs to make noise which it does super well it solved my worries by being loud enough to scare off any trouble and it saves energy which is a plus my takeaway is it seems worth it for peace of mind
