i got this because i wanted something to keep an eye on my apartment door without any fuss. expected it to be just okay, but reality is it's actually really useful. the image is crisp, and the night vision works well—no more guessing who's out there. alerts come through fast, though they can be too frequent. packaging was fine, nothing fancy. overall, it does what it's supposed to without any major hiccups, and for the price, it's a solid choice. would recommend to anyone looking for a simple security upgrade.
- Pros: the video quality is sharp and clear, even in low light, which was a big upgrade from my old peephole. i like that it alerts me when there's movement outside, and being able to check the feed from my phone no matter where i am is super convenient. the setup was straightforward, and it blends in well with my door.
- Cons: the battery life seems a bit short, and it can be too sensitive to motion, picking up things like passing cars. sometimes the connection drops if i'm far from my router, which is annoying.
