Decision:

As someone who bikes a lot around Halifax, especially in the evenings, I was really excited about this fender because it promised to combine style with safety. It does deliver on making me more visible, and I appreciate that it's durable and handles wet conditions well. But I'm a bit disappointed with the installation process—it took me longer than it should have, and I had to fiddle with it to get it just right. For the price, I expected it to be more straightforward. A tip for others: make sure to double-check the fit before you finalize the mount to avoid any looseness. Overall, it's a solid product, but it could be improved with a simpler setup and longer battery performance. I'd recommend it with some reservations, as it does its main job well but has a few flaws.

• Pros: The light is very bright and makes me feel much safer when riding at night, as cars seem to notice me better. It has a sleek look that doesn't make my bike appear clunky, and it does a good job keeping water and dirt off my back, which is great for my daily commutes.
• Cons: I found it a bit tricky to install securely on my bike's brake area, and after a few weeks, I noticed some minor rattling that could be annoying over time. The light's battery life could be better; it drains faster than I expected, so I have to charge it more often than I'd like.
