As a brand loyalist to JAPAN SPORTS, I had high hopes for this light. The problem: I needed something reliable for my daily rides around Marseille without constant adjustments. The solution: this light handles most of the work automatically, which is a godsend. But, it's not perfect—the sensor can be finicky, and I had to tweak it a few times. Takeaway: It's a solid choice for safety, but don't expect it to be flawless out of the box. For the price, it's quite good, but I'll stick with the brand for future upgrades.
- Pros: I quite appreciate how it lights up automatically when I start riding and dims when I stop, so I never forget to turn it on. The brightness is intense, making me visible even in broad daylight, and it's waterproof, so rain doesn't faze it. Charging via USB is a breeze, and it holds power for my long commutes.
- Cons: It took a bit of tinkering to get the automatic features calibrated just right—sometimes it doesn't sense my deceleration immediately.
