Say goodbye to the old-school snap traps with the Smart Electronic High Voltage Mousetrap—it's like giving your pest control a tech upgrade. as an older guy in chicago, i bought this as a gift for my partner, thinking it might help with our occasional mouse problem. i've only had it for a week or so, and while it's very convenient to control from my phone and integrates with my home system, i'm not fully convinced yet. the high voltage part does its job fast, which is good, but i worry about the tech side—if the wifi drops, it might not work. overall, it's a neat idea, but i could be wrong, and it might not be for everyone, especially if you're not into smart home stuff. i'd recommend it with some caution, but it's better than the old snap traps for sure. 😊
- Pros: it's very easy to set up and use with my phone, which i appreciate since i'm not great with gadgets. the way it handles pests is quick and seems more humane than old methods, and i like that i can check on it from anywhere without having to get too close.
- Cons: i didn't like how it relies on wifi, which can be unreliable in my home, and the app setup was a bit confusing at first. it could be wrong, but it feels a bit pricey for what it does, and i'm skeptical about how well it works with other smart devices.
